Loving the 2017-2018 Stampin’Up! Catalog

I received this lovely catalog today. And let me tell you, it is fabulous! As a Stampin’Up! Demonstrator you get to see it early and you can pre-order some select items before the catalog is released to the public on June 1.

So what did I pre-order

This is the At Home With You photopolymer stamp set and At Home Framelits. They are sold as a bundle for a savings of 10%.

This bundle of stamping and crafting goodness is so much fun to work with. Here is a card I came up with.

I think it turned out pretty good! And yes the door opens! There is a framelit that cuts the door so it swings open on one side. I stamped the background with the Hardwood Background stamp on Basic Gray cardstock using the Basic Gray Stampin’Pad . I applied a strip of Crumb Cake cardstock to the bottom of the card. The welcome mat is stamped on Soft Suede cardstock with Black Archival Stampin’Pad. The flower pots were colored with the Soft Suede Stampin’Write marker. I used Real Red cardstock for the door.

I stamped the greeting on the inside of the door. And of course, I stamped an ink smudge where the gold heart is, which is why the gold heart is there.  The greeting says ” I feel at home when I am with you”. I am not so sure when I would ever use that greeting. The stamp set does come with other greetings as well. As a matter of fact it is a multi seasonal stamp set. You can use it for Christmas, thanksgiving, or as a bithday or thank-you card.

I hope you like my card and inspires you to CREATE!  Available for purchase starting June 1.
