I finally got to play with my favorite Sale-a-bration stamp set Blossoming Basket! I embossed the basket image on watercolor paper using the Versamark Pad and white embossing powder. I then colored the image in with an aquapainter using Crumb Cake ink, old olive and Blushing Bride ink. Blushing Bride ink is very pale, so instead of just squeezing the stampin’pad to pick up ink on the lid, I used a drop of the ink refill. That way I got more intense Blushing Bride color for the blooms. I added a little Sahara Sand ink to the bottom of the basket just for a just watered plant look.
The little butterfly image is just darling! I stamped him with the Black Archival Stampin’Pad and watercolored him with the Aquapainter using Old Olive, Blushing Bride and Crushed Curry ink. Using a drop from the refills to pick up the color. I embossed a strip of Crumb Cake Cardstock using the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder that comes with the bundle. I cut the Burlap Ribbon into strips for the little twine bow on the handle of the basket.
