Can you tell I love this stamp set! I promise to move on to another stamp set after this post! It sure is fun to work with. You can do so much with it! This stamp set comes with images to build this flower in layers. It is fun to make flowers in different colors!
I used the Buffalo Check Background stamp to make the center panel. You can find this background stamp in the new 2018 Holiday Catalog. I stamped the flower with Daffodil Delight Stampin’Pad for the base of the flower and the accent image is stamped with Crushed Curry Stampin’Pad.
I made a mask using a large post it note, the same size as my center panel and stamped the leaves with Old Olive Stampin’Pad. I also used the Leaf Punch to punch on the other leaf images. I added a twine bow that I made from the Burlap Ribbon.
Here is a card made by the Stampin’Up! home office. Isn’t it just gorgeous? I love it! They used the leaf image in the stamp set to make the background on the card. It looks like they used Garden Green cardstock and the Garden Green Stampin’Pad to do this. To me it looks like the leaf was stamped Soft Suede Stampin’Pad on Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. It is just perfect! So I plan to CASE this card for sure. The tiny acorn images and the designer series paper band across the bottom portion of the card are from paper that is currently retired. You can see the Burlap Ribbon and the white Twine on the card does add so much interest also. The wooden elements add a wonderful touch too!
I hope you enjoyed my cards today and they inspire you to CREATE!
