At Home With You Photopolymer Stamp Set and Framelits by Stampin’Up!

at home with you crumb cake card by stampin'up

Don’t you just love this card? I know I do! This card is made by the Stampin’Up! home office and I thought I would share it. They used a stamp that comes in the stamp set to make the background. What a great idea! The cardstock used is Crumb Cake and it was stamped with Crumb Cake Stampin’Pad. The door as well as the other images were colored with the new Stampin’BlendsThe door was colored with the Crumb Cake Stampin’Blends duo (light and dark marker).

Now here is a card I made with this bundle

I really like how this turned out! The picture doesn’t do it justice.  I used the Stampin’Blends in Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler to color the door. I then removed some of the color with the Stampin’Blends Color Lifter for an aged look. The greenery was colored with the Old Olive Stampin’Blends duo. The door handle was colored with the Smokey Slate light Stampin’Blend marker.

I cut the window out with the matching framelit and just backed the window with Daffodil Delight cardstock for the look of light.

TIP:

When you are ready to stamp the holly image for across the top of the door, put the framelit on the table, put the stamp in the framelit and then press the block on the stamp. This way your stamp will align perfectly with the framelit and your cut image with the perfect.

At Home With You Bundle by Stampin’Up!

DSC_0005

I was determined to use the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper with another stamp set other than the Daisy Delight Stamp set. This stamp set was laying on my desk, so this is what I used. I think it turned out fairly well!  So far this is the only new Designer Series Paper I have that is current. So I want to stretch the limits on it.

This bundle (At Home With You photopolymer stamp set and At Home Framelits) is so fun to work with! It is so cute! It can be used for different seasons and reasons.  It is versatile.

There is so much detail you can add, like the wreath and the lantern. I stamped the front door on Calypso Coral cardstock.  There are framelit dies to cut everything out, no fussy cutting!

I just love the little welcome mat! Such a nice touch. And how about the pot of flowers!! Aren’t they pretty? I colored the flower pots with a Crumb Cake Stampin’Write marker.  I colored a few of the flowers with a Calypso Coral marker and the leaves with a Garden Green marker.

So if you are on the fence about buying this bundle, I recommend you get it, you will have a lot of fun creating with it. It is very versatile and can be used for many reasons, like Christmas, Thanksgiving, fall themed card, thank-you card, welcome to your new home card and many more reasons.

This stamp set and framelits are sold separately as well. You do not have to buy both. But you can buy them as a Bundle and save 10%.

Here is a video on how to use this bundle

I hope you enjoyed my project and it inspires you to CREATE!

Have a great weekend,

Loving the 2017-2018 Stampin’Up! Catalog

DSC_0002

I received this lovely catalog today. And let me tell you, it is fabulous! As a Stampin’Up! Demonstrator you get to see it early and you can pre-order some select items before the catalog is released to the public on June 1.

So what did I pre-order

DSC_0014

This is the At Home With You photopolymer stamp set and At Home Framelits. They are sold as a bundle for a savings of 10%.

This bundle of stamping and crafting goodness is so much fun to work with. Here is a card I came up with.

DSC_0005

I think it turned out pretty good! And yes the door opens! There is a framelit that cuts the door so it swings open on one side. I stamped the background with the Hardwood Background stamp on Basic Gray cardstock using the Basic Gray Stampin’Pad . I applied a strip of Crumb Cake cardstock to the bottom of the card. The welcome mat is stamped on Soft Suede cardstock with Black Archival Stampin’Pad. The flower pots were colored with the Soft Suede Stampin’Write marker. I used Real Red cardstock for the door.

DSC_0011

I stamped the greeting on the inside of the door. And of course, I stamped an ink smudge where the gold heart is, which is why the gold heart is there.  The greeting says ” I feel at home when I am with you”. I am not so sure when I would ever use that greeting. The stamp set does come with other greetings as well. As a matter of fact it is a multi seasonal stamp set. You can use it for Christmas, thanksgiving, or as a bithday or thank-you card.
