Lift Me Up Birthday

I am still trying to get use to using WordPress, so my blog is a work in progress! Hopefully I will catch on soon. So please bare with me.

I have been having fun with this bundle of products! It really is a lot of fun. You could literally spend all day just creating with this one set of stamps and framelits.

I am using the retired Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper called Carried Away, a great substitute that is in the Occasions Catalog is the Cupcakes and Carousels Designer Series Paper. I think this paper would work well with the Lift Me Up stamp set.

You get a lot of framelits in this set! I love the cloud dies especially! But of course the ultimate is the large Air Balloon die! It is an intricate die and the Die Brush and  Precision Base Plate really helped get it out easily. Another way is to put wax paper between the die and the cardstock and run it through the Big Shot a couple of times.

I used Watermelon Wonder Cardstock (which is retiring June 1) and it looks orange when I photographed it. The card looks much better in person.

I added a little shine with the silver ribbon and silver enamel star. I adhered the back images of the balloon with a glue pen.

You get 10% off when you buy the Bundle, but you can buy the stamp set and framelits individually as well.

Lift Me Up Bundle

I did not buy this bundle of products at first, it just didn’t grab me at first sight. But, I started looking at samples made with the images in the stamp set and then during Sale-a-bration there was Designer Series Paper available that coordinates with these products. I could not resist, especially since the Designer Series Paper was FREE!

Here is a card I made with this bundle

The card stock is Mint Macaron (retiring the end of May) one of the 2015-17 Incolors.

Don’t you just love the air balloon image. There are coordinating dies to cut out the images using the Big Shot. I added a row of rhinestones for a little sparkle.

I stamped the greeting (it is part of the stamp set) on a strip of the Designer Series Paper and backed it with a strip of Watermelon Wonder card stock (another retiring Incolor). The strips were made into a banner using the Banner Triple Punch.

Here is another idea

I CASE’D this card from the Occasions Catalog . The sample is on page 10. It is a simple card. The background was made with the Timeless Textures stamp set. The Stampin’Pads used is Soft Sky and Crumb Cake.

I just love this card.  It is fun just to make simple but striking cards. The balloons were stamped with Watermelon Wonder and Night of Navy Stampin’Pads on Crumb Cake card stock.

I think the rhinestones add a nice touch! The images were propped up with Stampin’Dimensionals.

The great thing is you get 10% off when you buy the bundle products which includes the Lift Me Up stamp set and Up and Away Thinlit Dies.
