I absolutely love the die cuts in the kit. The floral design reminds of the Lots of Lavender stamp set which is a Sale-a-bration stamp set. The vellum leaves really add a nice soft look!

Also included in this kit are 4 Watercolor Pencils! The Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist colors are exclusive to this kit. You can view this kit in my online store here. The Blender Pens are recommended for the watercolor technique but you can also just color the images with the Watercolor Pencils without watercoloring.

I know you will enjoy this kit just for yourself too!

Have a great day and be sure to take time to CREATE!

Happy Papercrafting,

Using the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set

I just love this stamp set! This is a great set of photopolymer stamps to show you that you do not need to spend 2 hours making a fancy card! You know the kind with many layers and different colors of cardstock and designer series paper.

You can make a one layer, simple but striking card.

I just stamped the images on a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock. The card is 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. I used Early Espresso for the tree base, and Pear Pizazz for the leaves on the tree. The good thing is with this set, the tree base and leaves are two separate stamps! And since you can see through the stamp it is so easy to put the leaves on the tree.

I stamped the flowers on the inside using Pear Pizzazz and Melon Mambo Stampin’Pad. Again these are two separate stamps!

This simple card is so striking the camera does not do it justice!. Don’t you just love the little bike image?

Now if you want, you can jazz it up by adding layers and embellishments.

So in this example I used Early Espresso cardstock as the base of my card and layered that with Whisper White cardstock and topped the white layer with designer series paper. The designer series paper is from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack from 2014-15 so it is retired.  I added a strip of 1 1/2″ Early Espresso cardstock down the middle. I used the Banner Triple punch to make the banner.

Sorry about the blob of glue at the top of the card. I didn’t wait for it to dry before photographing the card. It does dry clear. I adhered some linen thread tied into a bow as an embellishment.

I added a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 4″ to the inside of the card. You can’t see the Early Espresso cardstock too well it kind of blends in to the background, but it is layered on top of the Early Espresso base. The above picture shows how I stamped the inside.

So you see the difference when you jazz up you card with layers and embellishments. But it is not necessary.

I hope you all like my idea with this stamp set! It is a must have for the papercrafing enthusiast! You can see this stamp set in my online store here
